ARLC ReflectionZ: Soror Eley Describes Her Family Connection at ARLC

Sorors from all across the Awesome Atlantic Region made their way to Baltimore, Maryland to attend the 58th Atlantic Regional Leadership Conference (ARLC). Soror Eley’s, of the Eta Pi Zeta Chapter, ARLC experience turned out even sweeter than expected thanks to her family connection at the conference. Here’s her reflection:

“Zetas are FINER, the Atlantic region is AWESOME, and my Baltimore is BEAUTIFUL! I am so tired of the negative portrayal of my hometown, but this past 58th ARLC proved that Baltimore is a diamond, too. There were so many phenomenal moments, but my favorite moment was the rededication ceremony and moving reminder that we are all sisters of ZPhiB.

My Zeta journey became a little sweeter when I had the honor of being inducted into the 2019 Atlantic Region Legacy Club with Soror Melissa Powell, a cousin whom I just met for the first time this year at the ARLC. We learned we were sorors from another cousin and friend, Amica Annie Grace Carlisle from the Southeastern region.

What made this conference extra special for me was when my daughter, Soror Crystal Adams from the Pacific region, flew in to visit me. And I can’t leave out Sasha, my car that is displaying a centennial car flag I purchased to let the world know that the Zeta train is coming!”
